Solution Dyed Nylon | STAINMASTER® EverSoft® SDN | Polypropylene | Polyester

Polyester is another popular synthetic fibre used in carpets. Less expensive than nylon, it once had a reputation for being of poor quality. However, in recent years, the quality of polyester fibre has improved considerably and it can offer an excellent value choice for the budget conscious.

When new, polyester carpets look beautiful, belying their economical price. The fibre has a very luxurious “hand” and also come in some of the richest colours of any fibre. Because it is process-dyed, polyester has excellent fade resistance, while its relatively soft fibres give a rich feel, with high “perceived” quality.
